About Us

Dance Dr., a seasoned dance company with over a decade of artistic contributions, has recently expanded its offerings to include incursions. Dance Dr. Incursions bring the event directly to the students. This innovative program caters to Stage 5 and 6 dance students, offering a comprehensive enrichment experience comprising a two-hour performance, a Question and Answer segment, and nteract with the company's artists, and even learn a piece of Dance Dr.'s repertoire.

“Dance Dr. presented a stunning body of work led by Artistic Director Lucy Eaton. Students were inspired by the talent and technical precision of the company dancers, who performed a selection of contemporary pieces from their recent show 'DECA.' In the company-led workshop after the show, students felt challenged in a positive and supportive environment. They were learning repertoire from the performance, but also receiving critical feedback on their performance quality and technical skills. With many of the company members being recent HSC Dance graduates, they quickly built a rapport with our students, and the students gained further insight in preparing for their own HSC Dance exams.”
